What is Love?

"Is it the face of a child' Is it the thrill of danger; Is it the kindness we see in the eyes of a stranger; Is it more than faith; Is it more than hope; Is it waiting for us at the end of our rope?" According to Sugarland, it can be many things of varying nature. This time of year, particularly this day in America, we celebrate love, we think of love, we decorate things pretty in pink and talk about love, but do we truly exemplify love? Do we show our love? Are we "willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light; [Mosiah 18:8-9] Are we "willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort"?

I submit that we sometimes share our love with others, but often get caught up in ourselves. "Is it making you laugh; Is it making you cry; Is it where we believe that we go when we die; Is it how you were made?" [Sugarland.]

The loving prophet of old, even President George Albert Smith said, "you see, love...is not a mere word or a sensation within. To be a worthy love, it must be brough into action." What is love to you? How do you show it? I hope you see through my blog, those I LOVE the most and Most. What. Matters.
