So this Music Muse Tues is a little personal. And by a little, I mean a lot.
Once upon a time, I was not married to the love of my life. I was dating him. I dreamed right from the start of becoming his wife and the more I learned about him, the more I fell in love with him. One late evening, as we aimlessly walked around Downtown Disney, my love stopped me. There were people around heading to the newest flick or grabbing some delicious food from Wolfgang while enjoying the cool waterfront breeze. My love broke out in song, a Capella! Not Happy Birthday or the YMCA, but Never Felt This Way by, Brian McKnight. It was magical, but real. I was surprised and bashful. Not by his talent, because his talent did add to the many reasons I loved him, but because he wasn't one to draw attention to himself. My thoughts led me to believe that he would also be proposing marriage through this public display of affection. Throughout the song, it was though we were the only two people left on the earth. People passed by with looks of admiration, grasping hands with their loved one. I was on top of the world. I thought, "What has come over him?" He was in love. There was no proposal, yet. This story is to be continued...

There are way too many love songs that remind me of the hubby (we've known each other since I was 14!) But the first to come to mind is "When Will I See You Again" by BabyFace {sigh}
